The French already have the best (overall) version of the modern Roman breviary to their credit, the four volume and ideally formatted La Liturgie des Heures by Desclee. For the formatting, Desclee stuck by the norm of the old breviary and kept the first few weeks of ordinary time in the first volume - ideally you won't have to switch to third until after Pentecost.
